Yoga Nidra for your first visit
Yoga Nidra is usually practised lying down while a voice guides attention. Vedrana’s description says no previous experience is needed. That does not mean the same position or guidance suits everyone. Ask about adaptations and introductory preparation.

Comfort before perfection
Check whether to bring a mat, blanket or cushion. Wear clothes you can rest in comfortably. The aim is not to prove how long you can remain still or keep your mind entirely free of thoughts. Mention discomfort and agree on an adjustment.
When attention wanders
Noticing thoughts about everyday tasks does not mean you have failed. Return to the next instruction without trying to catch up. If you fall asleep, ask the facilitator about approaching the next meeting. Your experience is not a test and need not resemble anyone else’s.
Arrange comfort before starting
Ask whether mats, blankets and supports are provided or whether you should bring anything. If lying on your back is uncomfortable, ask about another position; you need not copy everyone else. Choose clothing that lets you settle comfortably. Following every word perfectly is unnecessary: when you notice your attention has wandered, you can simply return to the voice.
Vedrana’s published offering
Her description includes initial breathing, gentle exercises and guided rest with music, with a personal intention called sankalpa. The published duration is 90 minutes. An individual in-person session costs €60, a group session €40 and four individual sessions €220. Ask directly about group dates and adjustments. If guided rest is what interests you, that is a useful starting point for your enquiry.
