A small pause in an ordinary day
Sometimes you need a few minutes between tasks rather than a new plan. Choose a moment when stopping is safe: after desk work, before household tasks or on arriving home. This is not an exercise to do while driving or another obligation to squeeze in at any cost. If there is no space now, choose another moment.

Notice where you are
Sit or stand comfortably. Look around and choose three ordinary details: the wall colour, light on a table, a plant leaf. There is no hidden meaning to find. Notice the support beneath your feet and let breathing remain natural, without holding it or trying to make it deep.
Ask one simple question
“What do I need before the next task?” The answer might be water, fresh air, quiet or permission to do something later. Not knowing is fine too. A pause is not a test of self-knowledge, and tired thoughts do not have to become perfectly organised.
Finish with a small choice
Choose one manageable action: open a window, put your phone aside or approach the next task more slowly. Do not judge success by whether you feel completely relaxed. You stopped and gave yourself a choice, even if the day remains busy.
When you would like guidance
If following a voice appeals to you, read about Vedrana’s Yoga Nidra. It is a separately arranged meeting, different from this short everyday pause. Ask how it begins and whether experience is needed without deciding in advance to attend.
